This sculpture was commissioned for the entrance lobby of the BC Pavillion. The sculpture is inspired by the resilient, wind-swept trees on the west coast of Vancouver Island that are directly exposed to the gusts coming from the Pacific Ocean that borders the exceptionally beautiful beaches of the Pacific Rim National Park.
Commissioned by EXPO 86.
